This morning my blind cat, Alfalfa, disappeared. She had been outside, and I went to check on her, and she was nowhere to be found. Seeing as she is blind, I try to keep an eye on her, so I was understandably worried when I could not find her. After traipsing around the house for about fifteen minutes, calling out 'Alfalfa!' repeatedly, and undoubtedly giving my roommate weird dreams, I wandered aroound the backyard, then the street, whilst wearing my hospital pants that I acquired from Eagle Ridge Hospital. Eventually I found her: she had crawled throught the gate at the back of the house, and made her way into the neighbour's backyard. She had panicked, being in a new environment, and hid under their stairs, and couldn't find her way back to the sound of my voice. So, I got to go all the way past the two houses next to mine, then around to the street behind my house, then go through this stranger's yard to retrieve my cat. Silly girl!

I am eagerly awaiting the end of my semester! I do have a term assignment due this Thursday for Accounting, and the teacher told us that it would be about 20-odd hours of work. I really should start it, shouldn't I?
So, I'm going to Foxfest! Because Connie loves me!!!!!! What a nice birthday present! I get to see the Offspring and Billy Talent! Kewl! Then, the following week is my barbeque. Ahhh! What a nice end to the semester............
I get time for myself for the next month-and-a-half, as my hours go down to 36 hours a week. Then, Jun-July-August, I work Tues-Wed-Thurs-Fri-Sat graveyards, so I get 44 hours a week. AhhhhH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am such the workaholic!
If anybody can get me a really good deal on a laptop, let me know..........
